After seeing that it does not exist any plug and play airbox for S65 engine – neither BMW has an option for this model – we decided to develop an intake system made in carbon fibre completely new, with the aim to improve the engine efficiency , sound and, at the same time, the appearance inside the engine bay.

The KARBONIUS S65 AIRBOX, exclusive piece of KARBONIUS COMPOSITES, has been designed for our engineering team using the most modern technologies with analysis in 3D and in 2D . We have re-designed the genuine airbox, the elbow and the air filter cover, managing to optimize the air flow that enters to the engine and simultaneously to minimize the turbulences inside the airbox system, with the consequent gain of power. Besides of this gain of power, the KARBONIUS INTAKE SYSTEM gives the engine an awesome appearance and an astonishing sound, ang goes varnish high gloss with UV protection.

The V8 version of this box comes with the gap for the originals ///M V8 badges ( not included)

It is difficult to find such a well-designed intake system as genuine BMW S65, but we got it, and data confirm our words:

Installation:

• Instructions are not included, professional installation is highly recommended
• These parts are for TRACK AND RACE CARS, adjustments could be required at fitting.
• Not necessary to perforate or cut anything, although changing several origin parts could be necessary.

Notice of installation: Although our products are designed for an OEM-like fit, some minor adjustment may be required. Check that the fitting of the part is as expected before making any painted or modifications to the parts or to the car . Karbonius Composites will not be responsible for the costs of revert the vehicle to its original condition, or any painting expenses.
