Karbonius M3 E46 CSL Trunk Lid

CSL Style Trunk for BMW E46 coupe, replica of original part number 41-00-7-895-884.

It is a piece made 100% in carbon fibre prepreg and cured in autoclave. The exterior finish comes primed and ready-to-paint, even we offer the possibility of visible carbon fibre finish 2×2 weave and UV varnished.

   OEM look! The exterior side respects the original shape of the CSL trunk, while inner side has been modified to make it more appealing to eye, thus installation could be done with or without interior trim panel.

Inner finish is mate varnished. It has also a hole so if you want to install an ///M logotype (not included) and add a distinctive and sportive touch to the piece

   Fitment! We have put special attention to fitment of this piece as many of the CSL boot lids replicas that exist in the market do not fit properly. Karbonius boot lid includes all necessary holes for the installation of genuine accessories: lights, locks, upholstery, etc. CNC robotic cut ensures the necessary precision and repeatability in this great quality part!!!

   Extreme lightness! Manufacturing with prepreg carbon fibre and curing in autoclave allows us to control the exact amount of material needed in the different areas of the part, reinforcing with addictive layers only in the necessary points. With a weight of only 5.5 kilos, we managed to reduce by 50% the weight of the original boot lid which is about 11.5 kgs.!

• Instructions are not included, professional installation is highly recommended
• These parts are for TRACK AND RACE CARS, adjustments could be required at fitting.
• Not necessary to perforate or cut anything, although changing several origin parts could be necessary.
• Trunk may require some trimming to fit correctly due to variances in manufacturing
